My system is showing an error code — what should I do?
Note the error code displayed on the indoor unit. Many error codes are described in the system manual. Contact us and we can often advise whether it is a simple reset issue or requires an engineer visit.
My system is running but not cooling as well as it used to — is that a repair?
Reduced performance is most commonly caused by a dirty filter (owner-maintainable), reduced refrigerant charge (an F-Gas engineer task), or a blocked outdoor unit coil (annual service task). We can diagnose the cause on a service visit.
Is it worth repairing an old system or should I replace it?
We will always give you an honest assessment. If the repair cost exceeds 40–50% of replacement cost, or if the system is over 12 years old and has had recurring faults, replacement is usually the better economic decision. We will tell you which applies.
My system is leaking water inside — is that an emergency?
A dripping indoor unit is usually a blocked condensate drain — not an emergency but needs attention. Turn the system off, place a towel under the unit, and contact us to book a visit.
