Forge Air

Commercial Air Conditioning — Small Offices, Salons & Retail Across the South West

Forge Air installs wall-mounted split and multi-split air conditioning systems in small commercial premises across the South West. We work in offices, salons, retail spaces, studios and workshops — applications where a domestic-grade split system provides effective, efficient comfort cooling without the complexity or cost of full commercial HVAC. We are clear about our scope: we install comfort cooling systems, not complex ventilation or process cooling solutions.

How it works

01

Site survey

We visit your premises, discuss your requirements, assess the space and identify any constraints — lease terms, outdoor unit siting, electrical supply.

02

Specification & quote

We provide a written specification and fixed-price quotation. We will tell you clearly if your requirements are beyond the scope of a split-system solution.

03

Installation

We schedule installation to minimise disruption to trading. Most small commercial installations are completed in one day.

04

Commissioning & certification

Full commissioning, F-Gas certification and a written handover report. Service contract options discussed at handover.

Frequently asked questions

What size commercial premises can you serve?

Split and multi-split systems are well-suited to commercial spaces up to approximately 150–200m². For larger spaces, or those with complex ventilation or extract requirements, a full commercial HVAC contractor is the appropriate choice.

Do you handle server rooms, kitchen extract or process cooling?

We can install comfort cooling in server rooms and small commercial kitchens where a straightforward split system is the right solution. We do not design or install complex data centre cooling, commercial kitchen extract or industrial process cooling systems.

Do you work in leased commercial properties?

Yes — but you will need landlord consent. We can help with the technical specification for a consent application. Reinstatement requirements should be agreed with your landlord before installation.

Are commercial installations more expensive than domestic?

The equipment cost is similar. Additional costs in commercial installations typically arise from electrical supply work, out-of-hours scheduling and, in some cases, planning considerations for the outdoor unit.
