Frequently asked questions
How often should air conditioning be serviced?
Annual servicing is recommended for all residential systems. Systems in commercial environments, or those that run continuously (server rooms), may benefit from servicing every 6 months.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Yes — we service air conditioning systems installed by any company. We carry spare parts for all the major brands we work with.
Is annual servicing required to maintain the warranty?
For most manufacturers, yes. Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Panasonic, Fujitsu and Hitachi all require evidence of annual servicing to honour warranty claims.
What is included in an F-Gas leak check?
An F-Gas leak check involves measuring system pressures and inspecting all joints, connections and coils for evidence of refrigerant leakage. Systems containing 3kg or more of refrigerant must be checked at least annually under UK F-Gas regulations.
