What is nanoe-X and how does it work?
nanoe-X is Panasonic's air treatment technology. It generates hydroxyl radicals contained in nano-sized water particles, which inhibit bacteria, viruses, allergens and odours. Mark III, the latest generation, has demonstrated effectiveness against a significantly wider range of pathogens than previous versions.
What is ECONAVI?
ECONAVI uses infrared human activity sensors and sunlight sensors to detect occupancy patterns and solar gain, automatically adjusting the system's output to match actual demand. Panasonic claim energy savings of up to 20% from ECONAVI operation.
Is the Etherea available in colours other than white?
Yes — the Etherea is available in white, silver and matte black. It is one of the few domestic systems to offer a non-white colour option, which can suit certain interior design schemes very well.
How small is the TZ indoor unit?
The TZ indoor unit is among the smallest available for a domestic split system — approximately 65cm wide × 18cm tall × 18cm deep. It is designed for rooms where a standard-sized unit would be visually or practically difficult to accommodate.
